it’s a first!

Check this out, we’re holding our first ever designer and site CT call over at The Lilypad:

You can read full details (and see bigger images if you can’t read the small print here) OVER at DST. I’m really excited about this! I can’t wait to see who will be joining the team.

A couple of posts back I was talking about DD’s washed out sports day, well last night I got round to scrapping it! I saw these great templates by Michelle Filo over at LDD and just knew that the second one would be perfect for my page. The photos I have are all pretty bad (I don’t think my camera could deal with the driving rain and hurtling five year olds) and they are all out of focus. I thought the little rectangles on the template would be perfect to add in my super blurry photos – small enough so that the blur isn’t too overwhelming but large enough to see what’s going on.  Throw in lots of water and rain doodles and some bits of grass (the house was covered in pieces of wet grass for ages after this!) and here’s the finished layout:

soggy sposrts day

Sports day take two and pre-school picnic are next week, keep your fingers crossed for some dry weather for us!
