Hodge Podging

It was my turn again to set a challenge on the HP blog this week, I went for a simple prompt (I’m all about simple) just to use a quotation in a prominent place on your page. Here’s my page all about DD meeting a goat, or a “thing with the big long feet” (the save for web has taken it’s toll on this one a bit, it’s not actually this blurry in reality!):

Are you all shopped out after the weekend?! I picked up some great bargains! Check this lot out:

  1. I Dream of Poppies by Bren Boone – I’ve been meaning to pick this kit up for ages, so I tootled over to the store and discovered it was on sale for only $1 – result!
  2. The Digi Files #4 at The Daily Digi – a real mixed bag of stuff this month, my favourite pieces are from Creashens and Kaye
  3. Special Day by Cecile – perfect for the wedding album that I’m sloooowly working on
  4. Fun Frames and
  5. Unchartables Paper Set 1 and
  6. Bubble Test Sheets by Jen Wilson – and a couple of other paper pieces of hers, I’m a sucker for fun bits of paper to stick on my pages
  7. Ribbon People Princesses 2 by Rachel Young – genius!
  8. Happy Land Alpha by Mira Designs – fun, fun, fun!
  9. Colourful Alpha Tags by Megan Fisher – tags and bright colours, perfect!
  10. Doctor’s Orders (perfect for chicken pox photos) and
  11. Lucky and
  12. Peanut Butter and Jelly by Pamela Donnis (both were at FPD but have been retired since I bought them hence no links)
  13. and so I got the pretty May Sampler by Miss Tiina for free!
  14. Birthday Booya by CD Muckosky – everything CD makes is a must-get for me
  15. Soap Bubbles by Designs by Lili – I always think a girl can never have too many bubbles

.

I rather surprised myself by picking up a couple of kits rather than some more alphas, doodles and felt (because I really have so few alphas, doodles and felt in my stash…. ahem….) and it was great to go on a big splurge again without blowing the bank, now all I have to do it actually use it all!
