bits ‘n pieces

A bit of a random post with all sorts of stuff today.

1. Project 52: Week 2. Another pic of Matthew, who finally seems to be warming to the camera a bit more – hurrah!! The theme was “Four”, but I pretty much ignored that. LOL The car has four wheels so I think that just about counts! You also get a nice view of his little vampire fangs in this pic too, my little Edward :)

2. I found a UK supplier for the doodlebook frame (white only sadly) here: Eero & Riley or direct from Umbra for £2.50 more (???!) The Eero and Riley price is still more than double what it would cost if I could actually buy it in $ from Amazon, sigh. Sometimes I think I live in the wrong country….Once I get over my pique I’m sure I’ll give in and pick one up though, I don’t think I can resist all that doodley potential!

3. Finally, a little layout to share. Yes, I know, three layouts in three posts and no new products. Designing mojo is AWOL but scrapping mojo is well and truly here. Ahhhh, it feels good to scrap :)

Full credits are HERE

This is mainly using Tweet Heart, a fun collab by 3 of my CT members (Rachel, Jaime & Christina) that contains the cutest little ribbon cupcake in the world, check it out here.

Oh and by the way, for the uninitiated (because I know you’ll be wondering what on earth CIN cupcakes are) “C.I.N.” refers to Children in Need, a UK charitable event that we do a little something for each year.

4. Ooh, nearly forgot – I’m having a two day sale on my doodles as part of the ongoing month of sales and specials to celebrate the second anniversary of TLP. I’m just about to mark them all down now because I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it later, so it’s almost a 3 day sale really!

Have a great weekend! :)

Coud you not get a block of A4 and get a print shop or something to cut the middle out? They might charge you a few £s but it might be cheaper and you could choose your paper. You could make one out of watercolour paper if you wanted to and everything.
